Terms of Service
Draft terms for the Tendrs pilot. These will be replaced by attorney-reviewed terms before public launch.
The service
Tendrs connects hosts of private events with independent, ID-verified bartenders in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Tendrs is a booking platform only and is not a party to the service agreement between host and bartender.
Alcohol
Tendrs never sells, supplies or carries alcohol. Hosts supply all alcohol for their event. Bartenders may decline service to anyone, including anyone under 21 or visibly intoxicated.
Guest ages
Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring that guests who consume alcohol are 21 years of age or older.
Bookings and payment
Bartenders and crews set hourly or fixed per-gig prices, or offer both, with their own stated inclusions and maximum gig hours. Bookings have a 2-hour minimum of service (setup and breakdown are extra and usually take about 30 minutes each) and must meet the $30/hour minimum per bartender. The selected price and terms are fixed when the request is sent; later profile changes do not alter them. Crew members choose their earnings shares. Extra time is not automatically charged. A 15% booking fee is added to scheduled bookings and a 20% booking fee to Rapid Response bookings, shown in the quote before confirmation. A host's card is charged only after the bartender has confirmed and the host approves the booking. Tips are optional and go entirely to the bartender.
Bartender standards
All bartenders are 21 or older and hold a verified photo ID checked before their account is approved. Maryland does not require an alcohol-safety certification; bartenders who hold a current verified certification (TIPS or equivalent) display a Certified badge on their profile.
Cancellations and disputes
Cancellation and dispute terms are shown at booking time. If something goes wrong during a shift, hosts can open a dispute from the event page and we will review it.
Test mode
Payments on Tendrs are currently processed in test mode. No real charges, refunds or payouts occur until live payments are enabled.
