Privacy Policy

Draft policy for the Tendrs pilot. This will be replaced by an attorney-reviewed policy before public launch.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), booking details (event date, address, guest count), and — for bartenders — identity and certification documents used solely for verification.

How we use it

To run bookings: matching hosts with bartenders, confirming shifts, processing payments and resolving disputes. We do not sell your information.

Your event address

Your exact street address is shared with a bartender only after the booking is confirmed and paid. Before that, bartenders see only the neighborhood.

Verification documents

Bartender ID and certification documents are stored privately, visible only to the bartender and platform administrators, and used only for account approval.

Location during shifts

Bartenders share a fresh location when verifying arrival and departure at the venue. We record the verification time, distance and GPS accuracy. We do not continuously track location. If GPS fails, the bartender can request host or administrator verification.

Technical diagnostics

For basic error recovery, Tendrs records error categories and the general app area in server logs. These reports do not include error text, event IDs, arrival codes, full page addresses, or precise locations. Address lookup sends the entered venue address to the configured map provider, or OpenStreetMap when using the fallback.

Your choices

You can request a copy or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for payment or legal purposes.
