Frequently asked questions
Who supplies the alcohol?
You do, always. Tendrs bartenders never bring, sell or serve alcohol they supplied. Your bartender can advise on quantities for your guest count, but the shopping is yours.
How much does it cost?
Bartenders and crews offer hourly prices, fixed per-gig prices, or both. Each offer shows what’s included and any maximum hours. All bookings need at least 2 hours of service (setup and breakdown, about 30 minutes each, are extra) and must meet the $30/hour minimum per bartender. We add one clear 15% booking fee (20% for same-day Rapid Response), shown in your quote before you confirm. Example: one bartender for 4 hours at $30/hr is $120 plus an $18 fee — $138 all-in.
When is my card charged?
Your card is only charged once your bartender has confirmed and you approve the booking. Until then, nothing is billed.
Can I tip my bartender?
Yes — tips are optional and 100% of every tip goes to your bartender.
Who checks guest IDs?
Hosts are responsible for ensuring guests are 21 or older. Bartenders can decline service to anyone, including anyone under 21 or visibly intoxicated.
Where do you operate?
Private events in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Availability depends on having a verified bartender near your venue.
How do I know my bartender is qualified?
Every bartender is 21 or older with a verified photo ID, checked before their account is approved. Maryland doesn't require an alcohol-safety certificate, but we recommend one — bartenders with a verified certificate (TIPS or equivalent) carry a Certified badge on their profile.
